Volvo 850 manual shifter cables

Whiteblock Racing is the only source for replacement Volvo 850 manual shifter cables. The original equipment manual shifter cables for the 1993 to 1998 Volvo 850, S70, V70, and C70 were discontinued by Volvo and are no longer reproduced anywhere. When the factory cables stretch, bind, or fail, owners of these manual cars have had no replacement option available, until now.

We engineered a proper long term replacement. Our P80 precision shifter cables keep OEM fitment while improving shift precision, durability, and serviceability, and they are compatible with both OEM and short shifter setups. These fit the 1993 to 1998 manual transmission cars only. They do not fit the later 1999 to 2004 P80 models.

What is the Volvo whiteblock P80 platform

The Volvo P80 platform covers the 850, S70, V70, and C70 built through the 1990s and early 2000s. These cars use Volvo's modular five cylinder engine, widely known as the whiteblock, which powered everything from the base sedans to the turbocharged 850 R and T-5R. The platform built its reputation in motorsport, including the British Touring Car Championship and the Australian Touring Car Championship, where the 850 racing program made the boxy Volvo estate an icon.

Performance and hard to find Volvo 850 parts
